Wylde Ivy Winter Cranberry

Disclaimer - all products were purchased by me.

Wylde Ivy is a brand I don't see talked about much, but the owner Ashlee has a huge selection of incredible scents that are available in a variety of products including perfumes (both oil and alcohol based), lotion, body butter, sugar scrubs, bar soaps and dry oil sprays. There's a large offering of general catalog scents that are offered year-round, along with seasonal collections and "scents of the month." The fragrances are both unique and complex with plenty of masculine and feminine blends to choose from.

The ordering process is hassel free and easy, and there's no mad dash to complete your order before items sell out like with a few other etailers. Items are available for several months usually, and each scent is available in your choice of format (perfume, lotion, body butter, etc). I always receive a shipping notice within a couple business days and everything is packaged well. Free perfume samples are included with each order.

I've tried a few products from Wylde Ivy but this time I went with the body butter. It has a very thick & firm consistency, much thicker than Haus of Gloi's pumpkin butters. If I lay the jar on its side the product won't shift. It spreads easily and sinks in quickly, never leaving a greasy or oily feeling. It's incredibly moisturizing and clears up any dry patches on my skin overnight. I purchased the four ounce jar but an eight ounce size is also available. This is now tied as my Holy Grail winter moisturizer (the other being Moonalisa's Butter Rich Cream).

Winter Cranberry - sugared cranberries mixed with frozen blackberries and wrapped in a light white musk for a frosty and grown up cranberry scent. The cranberries and blackberries are equally balanced and the musk is barely discernible. This is a very tart blend and the scent lasts for hours. It never morphs on my skin but I prefer that in this case. It just smells like tart, mouth-watering cranberries and that's exactly what I was looking for.

If this scent is ever offered again I will certainly repurchase it. It wasn't offered this year so I'm hoping it will return next winter. And I'll be picking up more body butters too. Seriously, why isn't this brand talked about more? Wylde Ivy has two storefronts here and here. And make sure to sign up for her newsletter on her website so you can catch special offers from time to time.
